Our first day walking is under our belt. It was beautiful but quite industrial and city scape. Most of it along an estuary.

I have to admit, we did get about a mile off course, and had to walk up a big hill. But over all he signage was good. We just need to pay better attention.

With 10 miles and carrying 15+ lb packs. We feel pretty good. Along the way we stopped for a bite to eat and short rests enjoying the sights. The weather is perfect… 60s and sunny for most of the walk with rolling hills.

Even met a couple of dogs! and Ned visited a local Church.

Finally a day ending “sweet treat”.

We are staying at Pension Angelita tonight and the owner and his wife are taking us to a restaurant. They don’t speak English and our Spanish is iffy, should be interesting. Buenos Dias.
