A quick post today. Yesterday we visited 4 Gaudi designs. Two apartment buildings, a cathedral and a park. Gaudi’s architecture are a feast for the eyes. Such beauty in undulating curves and elemental use of nature. Incorporating the sea and forests, he gave his buildings life. They were breath taking.

Cass Batilo was designed for a wealthy family and we were able to tour some of the interior.

La Pedrera, another building designed for a family. Photos below.

The cathedral is still under construction, and they are continuing to build according to Gaudi’s plans. An amazing fete of architecture…simply breath taking.

We finished our Gaudi tour at a park he designed. It was suppose to be a kind of gated community. But never got off the ground. Only one home was completed. But the park itself is beautiful.

Last night we had tapas and gorged ourselves. Wandered through the city, and listed to an orchestra play music from Grease.

The city is alive and packed late into the evening.

Yours truely…. adios for now. See my Spanish is improving.
