We are in Winthrop, Washington, an amazing western motif downtown with really neat shops. Kind of like a Western Galena, and a nice little find while traveling two lane roads.
So our last night in Glacier we revisited the western side. A few years ago we camped in Quartz Creek and really enjoyed it. So we returned for one night. After the business of the eastern side, there wasn’t anyone else in this campground. On the drive up there was a bar/restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We dined and were entertained by the locals and staff.
First are some pictures from the Lake McDonald lodge. Mark was talking to a fellow Packer fan by the “Bus”.
And now the photos of Polebridge and Quartz Creek. I must admit that camping in our truck camper feels like better grizzly protection, than a tent did few years ago.
And now on to another state and to visit a classmate from MCHS.
