My blogging woes continue. Cellular and wifi are far and few between. Also, this far up north, many places aren’t open until Memorial Day, or just opening. We are in Munising, right outside Pictured Rocks. Heading back into the park shortly to camp again. The park is beautiful. Lots of waterfalls and hiking trails, our favorite! Last night we camped at Little Beaver Lake. Only 8 sites and all filled.  We were shocked, but most were volunteers to work on the trails. The rest were old guys for the walleye fishing opening day. All friendly and we had a great time enjoying their campfires and visiting.

There was a great hike down to Lake Superior and since it stays light out until 9:30, we were able to get some hiking in easily. The weather is slowly warming. From snow on the ground two days ago, to 50’s today.

We had time to hike to a couple of falls this morning. By now you should know I’m waterfall obsessed. It includes all the things I enjoy….forests, hiking, and the falls themselves.

Today we also took the boat tour of the Pictured Rocks. Well worth the time and money. They really are something to see from the water. Also, the boat was enclosed with a heater. That damn Lake Superior is cold.

The above is an old lighthouse. Tomorrow is our last day here at Pictured Rocks, then on to Porcupine Mountain.
