National parks aren’t know for their campgrounds. They are usually crowded and utilitarian. But out west they are international, and it is fun to camp in such diversity. The one we camped in was full and our neighbors were French. Lots of tent campers and young people too. Climbers and hikers.
Yesterday we took three hikes off Tioga Road. Three different hikes, and the area was way less busy. We first hiked to May Lake, an Alpine Lake. It is also the location of one of the Siera camps. People can hike from camp to camp and arrive at these with food and beds waiting.
Will finish blogging after grocery shopping for Kings Canyon.
