This is our tentative plan for our trip.  Ending in LA on October 31st.  Mark will then drive home alone, and I will fly back later in November.  I found another book, and am using it for a guide across the West.  It uses mainly two lane highways and we hope to travel no more than 5 hours a day.  Stopping at some of the sights we have driven by in the past.  Like The Royal Gorge, Arches National Park and The Great Basin.  First, we are stopping in Nebraska to see Ben and Lindsay and our Grandchildren!  Ending in LA to see Ben, Cassandra, and then stay and take care of Declan for a couple of weeks.

I have traveled many places but am feeling some anxiety about leaving.  I believe it is because it is for so long and with the recent loss of my Father… it is just hard.  But we dreamed so long about traveling like this.  Perhaps once I’m on the road the anxiety will lessen! Everything is packed and nearly ready to go!  Next time you hear from me, I’ll be in Nebraska.  We will then drop to Kansas and travel across the southern part of Colorado.
