We are making our way back up the keys, and are visiting with our old friends, Doug and Nancy Kemmer. Our boys all played together growing up, and Nancy and I worked together at the Health Department for many years.
Nick and his children were visiting here from Colorado and their son Ben lives here. We are having a great time catching up and seeing what their retirement life is like down here. Yesterday we went to the Moose Club for a big weekly drawing they have. No winners of the $42,000.00, so it rolls over another week.
Today we are going to explore the Key deers? An endangered species. The weather is rainy today, but yesterday was in the 80’s…perfect.
I am switching things up on the way home. We were to camp at Bear Island in Big Cypress, but due to snakes and sightings of Bigfoot, we are going to take a ferry to Cayo Costa on Saturday, and tent camp, until Mondayhttps://www.floridastateparks.org/park/cayo-costa
