This morning we kayaked the marshes. There was a guide/instructor along with our rental. Unlike many ocean coasts, there are miles of marshes between “solid ground” and the ocean (my term). These marshes have rivers and are surrounded by grasses and small islands, they call hammocks.

It was great for us novices! But along with being novices, I was afraid to take along my camera or phone. So no pictures!
Tomorrow is Savannah and I will take lots! Promise

We spend the afternoon at Tybee Island, lounging on the beach. A little cool, but relaxing. Night all
