We are spending the night at Cascade River State Park, just south of Grand Marais. Today we stopped and hiked Temperance River. A gorge with water falls, some hidden. Absolutely amazing. I have pictures and if I get enough cell service, I will post them.

Something we have found is there are lots of people at the initial start of the falls, but if you hike even a quarter of a mile, they disappear. Makes the experience so much more serene. We
Sit and read, snack and listen to the roar of the falls.

Tomorrow we head into Canada, and Sleeping Giant Provençal Park. That is, if they don’t stop us for Sophie’s bag of medications. She is hanging in there, hiking and being carried some of the way.
